The Norfolk Society of Arts is delighted to share that Mary Gabriel—recent speaker at the NSA Annual Meeting and acclaimed author of the bestselling Ninth Street Women—will present a special lecture on Wednesday, February 22 at 2:00 PM.
This complimentary program is offered in conjunction with the Muscarelle Museum of Art’s current exhibition, Abstract Expressionists: The Women, and will explore the groundbreaking female artists featured in her book. Members may attend in person in Williamsburg or via livestream, making it accessible no matter where you are.
About Mary Gabriel
Mary Gabriel spent nearly two decades working as a Reuters editor in Washington and London before turning to authorship. She has written several acclaimed books, including:
