Amanda C. Burdan is Senior Curator at the Brandywine Museum of Art, caring for both the collection of American art and the Museum’s historic properties, including the N. C. Wyeth House and Studio, the Andrew Wyeth Studio, and the Kuerner Farm.

Since completing her dissertation on the role of women artists in the formation of America’s cultural identity in the post-Civil War era at Brown University, she has continued to investigate the lives and work of women in her curatorial practice and research.
